In honour of CJD International Awareness Day
Sunday 12th November 2017
Register for the City2Sea or set up a Fundraising Page
Register to run or walk in the City2Sea in Melbourne on Sunday 12th November as an individual or part of a team. Registration link below.
Join us at Flinders Street Station before the event for a group photo at 7.30am and again at the end. Hopefully, if we are seen as a big group at the finish line we might get some media attention.
You can join this event and not set up a fundraising page as we all ask a lot of others in supporting this cause, but we hope that if you are available you will still participate to help us raise awareness on the day.
To set up a fundraising page please see the fundraising page info and make sure you join your fundraising page to Team Prion.
If you need CJDSGN T-shirts please make your request by emailing CJDSGN and advise of sizes. Singlets will be available for the serious runners!!!
Set up your own satellite event anywhere in Australia – just get together with a group of friends and promote awareness of CJD on 12th November 2017.
All we ask is that let us know about your event to promote awareness on CJD International Awareness Day and after the event you post some photos on our CJDSGN Facebook Page.
You are also welcome to set up a fundraising page and join Team Prion to raise funds for prion research in Australia. Go to the fundraising page tab.
Free CJDSGN T-shirts for all participants can be requested by emailing the CJDSGN and advising sizes.
Anyone can create a fundraising page and join Team Prion even if not participating in an event.
Select CJD Support Group Network by entering name in the search bar for a charity. Fill in details and then click create fundraising page making sure that CJD Support Group Network is noted as your charity.
Once you have created your fundraising page you will be asked to create a team or join an existing team. Click on join an existing team, find Team Prion and join so that together we can all make a difference.
Last year Team Prion came in 1st place as the team who raised the largest amount of money so we want to keep this position.
Everyone who is participating in the City2Sea or another event can request an orange T-shirt by emailing the CJD Support Group Network.
All we ask is that you promote awareness on the day and post some photos on our
CJDSGN Facebook Page.
The more orange T-shirts out and about on 12th November the more awareness we can all create.
Our ribbons and bracelets are also available so please go to our Fundraising Shop and place your order in time so that on 12th November, you can encourage your friends to wear a CJD awareness ribbon or bracelet.
